Disappointment
Very disappointed when we found they do not supply even a toaster to make toast for breakfast before leaving on a long trip. No plates or cutlery in room either.

A comfortable and pleasant travel stop
This is possibly the best motel/travel hotel I have ever stayed in. Clean, well equipped and a free continental breakfast for half the price of nearby accommodation. Do not be put off by the connotations Europeans may have with a "motel", this was on a par with solid 3* regular hotels with the added benefit of parking outside the room.

I appreciated the cleaniness of the room having the chocolates on the bed was a nice treat to have after a long drive. The bed was clean and comfortable and the air-conditioning worked great. The staff were very friendly and even when i called upon my arrival after 10 pm here very accommodating and friendly. The commentary breafast was nice. My son preferred the hot food and the coffee qaa made just as I likes it. The geounds werr very clean tiday and the pool lookes great. We were able to have our little fur baby with us for a reasonable fee. Overall I am very happy and will be staying here again in the futurr.

Great halfway stay between Brisbane and Townsville
Great place to stay when travelling between Brisbane and North Queensland, it is quiet, has great meals and is always a restfull place to stay on a long trip. Have stayed here a few times and always rebook.

Of the 8 nights away from home, my one night at this Motel was by far the best. Friendly staff, (actually are friendly). Meals were good and breakfast is thrown in. Not only was it the best Motel it was by far the cheapest.

A highway treasure
We had not stayed here for quite awhile. Turns out the motel had changed hands so it was good to see the (very) new owners were working hard to restore it to what it was like - a great place to stay on a long highway road trip. The welcome at reception was very friendly and we quickly made our way to the undercover car park outside our room. Inside was clean and comfortable, with all that we required for an overnight stay. The large chicken coop was a good outside distraction for our grand daughter and it was pleasing to see the owners have started on a sizable fruit and vegetable garden area. The on-site restaurant was well set-up with helpful staff who provided speedy service. We slept well and the next morning enjoyed a complimentary Continental breakfast in a separate area before departing. Another important point is that the motel is pet-friendly; whilst there were several other dogs there, as well as our own, there was never any issue. We would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved our stay here. I wish we would have spent more than one night. We were greeted by a nice gentleman that made sure we could order dinner before the kitchen closed (we arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed). He put in our order while we went to unpack our car and by the time we got to the bar our food was ready and hot. It had homey feels reminding me of being at my grandparents farm. In the morning we were treated to a free breakfast and then we were off. Thank you for having us - Shannon and Mitch

Great stay at a reasonable price
Surprisingly amazing motel just off the main road. Room was big and smelled good and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast included. I would go back 100%!
