The experience was horrible with Hotel com and the hotel Golden Fort! We had done an advance booking for 2 nights 3days via Hotels.com On the day of checkin when we called stating that we will be checking in, we were told by the Hotel Golden Fort that there is NO BOOKING in our name , whereas we were sent a mail by Hotels.com stating that our booking was confirmed! We were left without a hotel and a place to stay in a new town. Also the reception staff at the Hotel Golden Fort was very very rude. So folks please beware and avoid using the booking site Hotels.com and Hotel Golden Fort.
