Rude and incompetent service
“I had no issues with my stay, but I do have a problem with the additional $160 charge to my card. When I checked out, I specifically asked for a receipt to confirm there were no extra charges. The receipt they gave me showed $0 and no charges. They told me that Hotels.com would have the receipt with the charge details since everything was handled through them.
Now, I see a $160 charge from SpringHill Suites on my card—something I was not informed about, and it’s not reflected on the receipt I was given. When I tried to get answers, no one at the hotel could explain it. I was told the person who could help was on a conference call and unavailable, and the manager who checked me out wouldn’t be in until 3 PM.
It’s hard to believe that in an organization this large, only one person can handle a customer’s issue. I’m extremely frustrated because I’m getting the runaround and no answers. To make matters worse, the front desk representative had the nerve to tell me I was making a mountain out of a molehill. I told her that if it’s not a big deal, she could give me my $160 and have the manager reimburse her.
This is my hard-earned money, and I deserve answers. Of course, I’m upset!”
