Only problem which was not the Hotel's fault is the elevator was out of order. The company came to fix it but couldn't for that day and the next when we were checking out. We were on the 5th floor and had to drag out luggage down ourselves. However in fairness to the Hotel they did tell us when we checked out had we called and told them we were on the 5th floor they would have send someone to help us with our luggage.

Perfect for a 2 nite stay!
Perfect for what we needed! This is our 2nd or 3rd stay due to family events and it’s our new go to when attending Long Island family events. Its clean, comfy, spacious and allows our fur babies!

I Implore All to Stay Away!!!
This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. The hotel was filled with homeless people, migrants, and sketchy individuals. A heavy weed smell permeated the entire hotel. It’s false advertising when I pay full market price for a room and then I discover that La Quinta Inn in Garden City has been converted into a homeless shelter; without any notice. I will be escalating this complaint to local authorities for misrepresentation. I implore anyone to stay away from this disgusting and dangerous place!!!

Will not stay here again!!!!
Terrible. First impression was horrible. We walked into the lobby and smelled Marijuana. The smell was by the elevator, in the elevator, on our floor( 5th floor). We were not very happy. We had stayed here previously and that us why we booked it again. I will say, the room was clean and nice. The staff did not clean up around the breakfast area .

My Week Long Stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites
I choose this hotel as it was close to my family and friends as well as being accessible to the mall and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and my room was large, had a comfortable bed and other amenities. Basically, it was kept clean by staff. The only issue I had that when I requested clean towels in the evening, they were sent up to my room.I had to wait until the next day. The continental breakfast each morning had great choices as well as variety of foods. One suggestion is that the tub have bars to assist elderly guests when showering,

Per long term residents Elevator 1 had been inoperable for several months leaving Elevator 2 available for all residents and it was extremely slow in operation. When we arrived one parking lot was closed due to space repainting, so 2nd lot was overcrowded.

The property is not new but they do keep it neat and tidy.. however the carpet in the room is very dirty..and there’s a smell associated with that.. they absolutely need vinyl flooring to keep the floors sanitary.. nobody wants to walk on a carpet that thousands of dirty feet and shoes have been on.. bring your flip flops!
