Deerfield Beach Embassy Suites was very handicap accessible. Thresholds were flat in most cases. They had a spacious handicap suite for us. The bathroom in our suite was enormous and had so many grab bars. There was a removable shower bench in the tub and the shower head could easily be lowered. The dining table was at just the right height and the kitchen appliances were located underneath the prep counter. The pool and the hot tub had handicap seats for lowering you in. You could even sit in your wheelchair near the ocean to see and hear the waves. We had four children and two adults in the suite for four days and there was lots of room. My daughter loved the extra room with the sink, counter and giant lighted mirror. The staff was very attentive and accommodated our every request. We brought two dogs with us and they were treated well by everyone they met. Our family will definitely recommend this resort to one and all. It was much better than our weeklong stay last year at the Ritz Carlton in terms of handicap accessibility, attentive staff, pool amenities, daily free breakfast, daily free happy hour, and decor. The multitude of wall art and table displays at this hotel are very fun and beachy. This extra effort was appreciated by my entire family.
