I was very disappointed in my one-night stay. The air conditioner was broken in my room which made it too hot to sleep. At 2AM I requested another room, which they were good enough to accommodate, but the air conditioner in that room was also poor though slightly better than the first. One of the phones in my second room was broken. The electrical sockets were loose. There was generally a musty odor in the rooms, likely stemming from the air conditioner problem. The rooms were not dirty per se but in need of work. This hotel needs an overhaul. On the plus side the staff was friendly.

My room was dirty. They didn’t vacuum and the toilet had pee around the screws on the toilet. The tiles were cracked in the tub and the faucet was not connected to the wall. The breakfast buffet was $35! Yikes.

The first one we were in was dirty and had a bad smell and the toilet was running so they had to change us to a different room. Then we went to the new room which was much bigger, but it was still dirty. It looked like it had a party in the maid hadn’t properly cleaned it. We came back the next day after our cruise was complete which was January 5 and the room they put us in was decent, but it still needed to be clean.

The curtains in the room were broken and the reception manager did not check my reservation properly and charged me more. I wasted about 2 hours calling you and in the end she charged me incorrectly and then returned my money a few days later. This is unacceptable.

Please reimburse my money
I never did stay. I made an error in my booking and I came in on the 14th and told them of my error and asked them to cancel it which they did not then on the 21st while I was on a cruise ship I got a bill for the room. I tried to contact Hotels.com to ask them to remedy it and no answer still.

Hotel com carpetes imundos(cheira mofo), wc e banheira entupidos, falta de papel higiênico, recepção ineficiente e mal humoradas. Jamais retornarei e não indico a ninguém.

Don’t stay at Doubletree
Staff never picks up phone. Crazy woman running the halls crying and screaming. Very noisy. Waiting to be picked up at the airport for over 2 hours. Very dirty and outdated

Picked this hotel primarily for proximity to airport and having airport transfers. For more than 15 minutes no one would answer the dial direct # given to me during reservation so I could request the transfer. When I called corporate, they disconnected twice after 10 minute wait each. Both used my phone to verify who I was but did not bother to call me back. I took an Uber to the hotel and the desk person (Adrian Soto who said he was the night mgr) said he can't pick up the phone because it would be rude to guests signing in. After in the hotel, there was no heat available despite it being cold outdoors in January in Miami.
