We were suppose to stay at the hotel from the 25 until the 26th.
We arrived and first the smell was horrible but manageable. We entered the room ( mind you it’s starting to become really cold out), the cold was so unbearable we turned the heater on and left, in order for us to be warmer. We left to pick up my dog who just had surgery. When we came back, which was a couple hours after the hotel room was even colder. It was so cold, we got upset and went to the front desk. She told me that it might be turned off from the basement ? You serious ?. I’ve never been to a hotel or motel were you can’t choose your own heat preference. So we were already annoyed but waited. She said it would take about 25-35 min to heat up. Long story short, she came back noticed it was still cold. We asked for a different room, especially because my dog JUST GOT OUT OF SURGERY. The room she showed us was even even colder. She said that it’s the same everywhere because the heater was turned off. We asked for a refund and they refused, they refused for us to get our money back to book to a different hotel, knowing about my dogs situation. They flat out didn’t care, do not go to this place if you want comfort or heat. It’s not a cozy place, it has a really bad odor as well. We really struggled that day. I don’t wish that on anyone, with a sick person or animal. My baby was shivering the whole time. They deserve -0 stars
