Nice owner but too old.
We are very disappointed with the stay so much that we stayed for only one night even though we had to pay in advance for two nights. What we encountered was bless Pat's heart but she is to old to run a B&B for she is in her late 80's and barely can get around. She has no help and has a neighbor to check in on her and bring her supplies and mail. Her place was charming but in major need of care. We felt we should of be taking care of her. Sad situation for we have not had a vacation for nine years. Below tepid water therefor too cold to take a shower. Had to wash out of the sink. Shower was very dark not enough lighting to see. Water usage was limited. Shower across the hall not in room. No key for our room the door had to be unlocked with other rooms in the same area. Noway to protect our belongings as other people could walk in when they please. There were other larger available private rooms with locking doors but was not available for they are too far for Patty to walk to. When turned on the vent in bathroom mice and roach feces fell down on top of toilet and floor. Bath carpets smelled of urine. No T.V. In room. When I went into kitchen there were mice and rat feces on the floor. The Swimming pool has algae through out the bottom.

We had a nice stay. The room was clean & comfortable. Liked the natural & remote surroundings. Had some nice features like the beautiful courtyard. Only stayed one night but we will consider staying here in future trips.

La dueña fue súper amable, compró hasta opciones veganas para mi pareja. La casa era muy bonita y nos sentimos en casa. Además, la cercanía con el Parque nacional de Saguaro es sin duda un plus. Quizás lo único habrían tenido que avisar que el último tramo para llegar a la propriedad es sobre una carretera de tierra.

Was okay
The lady was nice. The only issue I had with the place was showering in a very small shower and standing in water. I definitely was worried about germs and fungus. I found that very gross. Otherwise room was nice. Bed was a little too firm but was able to sleep. Since it is a house there isn’t great noise control would recommend ear plugs and noise machine if light sleeper.

An original 40 year old adobe home in middle of desert! The house has beautiful character and the owner is very nice and welcoming! Enjoyed the breakfast also. We’re glad we stayed there.

The property is in a rural setting, 3/10 of mile of dirt road to access the home. Rural, beautiful, rustic and very quiet. The property is old which lends to a very quaint experience the hostess a wonderful lady.

Quiet and peaceful
A very enjoyable stay on a 6 acre property about a quarter mile on a dirt road. Only two miles from stores. The desert view was amazing. We were served a nice breakfast. A nice retreat.

Felt like we were home.
We had a very nice overnight stay at Desert Oasis. Ms. Patty was very nice. The B&B had been her family home for 50 years. Everything was handpicked with love and care. She welcomed us with everything we could have needed. Even an iPhone charger. She told us we could take anything from the fridge if we were hungry. In the morning she offered to make us a hot breakfast. Lots of choices. We will definitely stay again and would totally recommend here to anyone. Do be aware that you have to drive a bit down a dirt road to access the house. It’s very much worth it!!
