A charming boutique hotel

This hotel was in an excellent location in the centre of Athens. Within walking distance of shops, markets, public transport and tourist attractions. The staff were very professional and welcoming. Our room was modern with all the required amenities to make it a very enjoyable stay.

Movie Magic From the Roof

We had an issue with getting into our room due to a broken, glass door. The hotel comped us drinks as a result. We loved the rooftop bar. A highlight from the bar was watching a silent, black-and-white movie projected on a building across the street, with a view of Acropolis Hill lit up in the distance. It was lovely! Unfortunately the movie projector was not working the second night, so we were not able to repeat the experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nicely located and comfortable

The Artist Athens was a nice hotel with very clean rooms. The daily breakfast is made to order and tasty. The rooftop bar is great and the restaurant looks good but we don’t get a chance to try it. The location is amazing - easy to walk to all of the main attractions and area for restaurants, shopping, site seeing and quick bites. Staff was very nice.

This was a wonderful stay, right in the heart of Monastiraki, which is like a hub of activity! Despite there being a restaurant right outside, we were on the 2nd floor, and couldn't hear a thing - great soundproofing! The roof terrace is lovely and the breakfast was also great - made to order! Would definitely stay here again, it was perfect.

Hotel breakfast is very generous, the bread basket has assorted Greek pastries in addition to bread. Wide selection of main courses to choose from and best of all, it ends at 11am, later then most hotels. Sound insulation can be slightly better. Like the terrace garden on second floor too. Only issue is that shower ceiling has a beam which is slightly low so sometimes bump slightly into it.

Remarkable experience - Remarkable hospitality.

We would like to say “Efcharistó” to the amazing team at The Artist Athens. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and freshly hand-made lemonade. We enjoyed beautiful breakfast daily. We also enjoyed a sensational Gastronomy Experience at the Rooftop restaurant, which has an uninterrupted and incredible view of the Acropolis at sunset. I have to say the staff at the hotel were exceptional and demonstrated Greek hospitality at its finest. We’ll be back. Perfekt boende för en weekend i Aten! Ett stenkast från tunnelbanan som gick direkt till flygplatsen. Trevlig personal, sköna sängar och rena rum! Frukosten var riktigt bra!

Fine small scale hotel in Psyrri, a lovely vibrant section in the center of Athens. We could reach all the hotspots by foot.

First time in Europe and we were warned that room sizes are fairly small, we had a junior suite and the room was an amazing size with 2 large bags still had enough room! Walking distance to all the main attractions, a little loud at night obviously since in the main area so expected. Only suggestion, no tissue paper in the room, we didn’t always get hot water for a shower it was like warm sometimes but overall amazing stay, breakfast delicious we would stay again!

Ok ställe men finns bättre.

Ett ok ställe i intressanta kvarter. Frukost ingick men personalen verkade genomgående trötta och vid en av två frukostar blev beställningen fel. Känns också lite konstigt att man inte fick välja vilket kaffe man ville utan fick betala 9 euro för två koppar.
