The building is adjacent to a shopping center with a good supermarket. Also, the street in front is on the main bus route to downtown or you can walk in about 45 minutes. As a studio, the unit is somewhat small. The main problem is the kitchen if you are planning to cook. The shelves containing the plates and glasses can not be reached by a short person. The kitchen is ill equipped and the cooking pots and pans were dirty. Only one cutting knife. The show stall was somewhat moldy along the perimeter of the base.

Rental unit is located above a busy and loud shopping mall. So if you want a quieter place x this isn’t it. We were here only 3 nights and the in-unit washer broke on first use. Someone came to fix it the next day, but upon second use it broke again. We ended coming back and fixing it ourselves, YouTube to the rescue. Got our clothes out soaking wet and had to mop up the kitchen too. If you like to DIY around the house, stay here.

A nice place to make an initial stay in Funchal. It is small, but clean, and it has everything one needs for a short stay including kitchen with clothes washer, dishwasher, double sink, oven, stove, and microwave, as well as fridge/freezer and coffee maker. All dishes required for a short stay include. It is has excellent location at Forum Madeira mall, along the lively Estrada Monumental. There is a Pingo Doce supermarket right in the mall. Abel the host is friendly and responsive, and made transfer from the airport and entry to the room seamless. Thanks!

Das Appartment war super. Wir waren zu zweit für 10 Tage da und es fehlte uns an nichts. Waschmaschiene, Spühlmaschiene und auch ein Smart TV mit You Tube und Netflix Anschluss ist vorhanden (haben wir nicht genutzt). Schnelles Wlan, viel Stauraum für die Klamotten und Reinigungsservice am 6. Tag gab es ebenfalls. Da es an einer gut befahrenen Strasse liegt, ist es für Leute wie uns, die keinen Krach gewohnt sind, schon etwas laut. Aber die Balkontür kann einfach zugemacht werden, während zBsp das Fenster in der Küche offen ist. Der Balkon ist nicht groß aber man hat Meerblick. In der Hauseingenen Tiefgarage hat man einen eigenen reservierten Parkplatz und einen direkten Zugang zum Müll, was meiner Meinung nach nicht fehlen darf. Rund um ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden.

The property is situated on the 5th floor of the first tower on the right as you look from the roadside entrance to the Forum Shopping Mall. Albeit a studio apartment the space available is well utilised and you do feel as though there is ample space on offer, which indeed there is. The balcony is narrow but accommodates a couple of comfortable chairs and a small table. We comfortably managed to drink a glass or two and eat snacks whilst enjoying the afternoon sunshine watching the world go by. We stayed mid to late March and had direct sunshine on the balcony from 1400 to 1800. The apartment itself is well equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine plus a gas hob and electric oven. A tip for those who contemplate cooking - when you check in get Abel or Elias to demonstrate how the hob and oven operate it will save you a lot of head scratching later! The shower room is spacious and everything works - there is little else to say. The bed linen and towels were changed during our one week stay which I thought was fantastic in a self catering environment. My only criticism would be that there ought to be two bath towels each as most people will shower at least twice a day. Having said that there is a clothes dryer around the corner of the balcony. The apartment comes with an allocated underground parking space which is very useful because parking in the area is metered. A fantastic property in a very good location. Abel and Elias are great to deal with.

Das zweite Mal bei dem Anbieter dieser Appartements und wieder alles Bestens. Freundliche Kommunikation, sauber, Bilder stimmen exakt, an Ausstattung alles da, super Lage (einziger Nachteil laute Straße) und das Bett bequemer als mein Eigenes Zuhause. Ich komme gerne wieder.
