Nice beach. Everything else is a let down.
This place is basically a backpacker type accommodation with hotel 3 star prices. It was about $130sgd for an 'Air conditioned room'. Crazy considering the air conditioning does not work. Sound proofing is extremely poor. The room is basically a wooden hut. It is the definition of simple, washroom combines the shower and toilet bowl area. So everything is always wet. The area is quite inaccessible . Lacks lighting and a proper road. No transportation services unlike most accommodation on this part of the island. More than anything is the ridiculous price. I would be totally fine with this accommodation if I were paying less than $70 a night. The nicest part was the immediate beach. Water was clear enough to snorkel. Then again, every bit of beach on koh lipe has water clear enough to snorkel so it wasn't special. All round a huge let down. Will never go back again.

Unforgettable for those looking for this kind of e
The stay at Pitiusas couldn't be any better for those confortable with the idea of a rustic bungalow (no hot water, air con, etc.) away from the hustle of walking street (15 min walk along Pattaya beach). Enjoying what de-facto is a private beach, relaxing at the sun-beds, snorkeling with the masks and fins provided by the resort or just watching the sunset while having drinks is worth the experience. We have spent 4 unforgettable days!
