Low price but still disappointing
Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day and a night of drinking. Disappointingly there was no hot water in the morning so I left without being able to shower (there had been warm water for a shower the evening before). The toilet seat was also loose.

The room was very nice plenty of room,room was very cold and took about 3 hrs to warm up.the TV was broken was a bit gutted but they didn't know about it till I told them other than that it was a good stay,staff was friendly and very professional many thanks.

Budget and i personally will avoid
This is a budget hotel for those who don't really care around comfort and luxury. I accepted this but even so the bathrooms have mould in it, very thin walls and very noisy neighbours are a misery. Managed ro sleep as i was shattered from a very long drive but given the price range offered, i think it really needs a hell of a lot of work and a proper thorough clean.

Cheap fixtures dated but acceptable for the price slightly mouldy shower which is not ok. No warning of security deposits and cannot order breakfast as need to give advanced notice. No one on site in the morning to deal with issues/ security. Would be ok if advised before booking

good location
very good location for M1 and Leicester. Hotel rooms are a little basic but was clean and the bed was comfy. The Indian restaurant attached to the hotel was brilliant.

OK for 1 night singe occupancy
Booked to stay there for 1 night whilst attending dinner party at a friend's house. My wife was unable to come with me due to illness - she probably would have been more critical than me. The room was quite small and the bathroom particularly so. The basics were OK but some little things added up - e.g towel with a hole in it; couldn't turn bathroom radiator off so it was boiling in there.

Comfortable weekend stay
I initially booked a single room but got upgraded to a double en-suite at no extra cost. The room I got was spacious and clean. The room was also located in a quiet part of the hotel. All in all, I had a comfortable weekend stay.

Stay was OK. Make sure that you arrange your breakfast time the night before. Not sure that the room was cleaned daily as the bin was not emptied during my stay.
