Unfortunately Bad

Breakfast, if you want to call it that, was not good. They didn’t have batter for the waffles. When we got down there to go eat, they weee out of everything and we had ti ask them to replenish the food. The biscuits they added were ice cold. The sausage links were rubbery. The coffee was way too hot to even drink.

Not so great.

Room was hot and never got real cool. Hallways seemedcto be unair conditioned. Upon arrival around 1:30p we were told check-in was 3p. Matter of factly, not let me see if your room was ready etc. I had requested that our room had 2 queen beds after i had made the reservation for a single King...i even called both the hotel AND hotels.com to make sure this request was updated in the system. I was informed by the front desk that it was not changed and I had to pay more money for this. Which I did, when they came to clean our room we were out in mtgs they replenished our towels etc. They took my personal hair towel that was not white like the hotel towels...the beds weren't made or anything. We opted to leave after iur mtgs and didnt even stay the 2nd night.

Good Service,

The only thing that I would say keeping it from the 5 stars is the continental breakfast was just okay. Also, it would be helpful to have somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom, besides right by the toilet.

Clean, peaceful hotel…I hope to come back…I gave 4 stars because they can improve on the breakfast choices. Overall, I would rather stay here than any other hotel around the area. I will surely come back since my dear daughter will be attending Texas Tech…

Great experience.

All of the staff was very friendly. Our bathroom light was out and the manager fixed it quickly. The pool was great and our son had a blast. Room was clean and just as described.

Rooms/bathrooms are clean. Comfortable beds. Decent pillows. They offered a good hot breakfast. They staff have all been friendly and helpful. My only complaint.. and for me is a huge one... is the fact that the breakfast area seemed to have no a/c on in 100º temp. I could not enjoy their nice breakfast because i started pouring sweat!! Even just walking down the halls or through the breakfast area to get to my truck, was super hot. Other than that, this has been a very nice stay. Easily accessible off I27. Plenty of restaurant options close by. Although, the hospital UMC was across town, taking the loop makes it seem closer! Definitely do recommend..

Wonderful pit stop on a long journey

This place was a gem! The room was much larger than I expected for the low price we paid. It was a little confusing trying to get back to the hotel from where we went to eat supper because of non-through streets and the one way feeder on I-27, but thankfully the parking lots of neighboring buildings are open to cross traffic.
