Will stay with Marriot
We stayed from from 8/10/25-8/15/25. Fromt the beginning, checking in took over 20 mins from waiting in line to getting checked in. 1 out of the 2 elevators werent working & it seems like thats a recurring issue. Room was clean & beds were soft & comfy. Hotel breakfast was pretty good too with buffet & made to order items. Lagger heads restaurant was really good also - went there twice for food & drinks. Pool was cold with no towels & not enough chairs. The pool board stats hadn't been updated since 7/13/25. Phones were also not working most of the time for internal & external calls. Some front desk associates can be a little rude. We tried staying another night to enjoy the beach but were told it was "probably booked" we had to ask if he could check to confirm but hung up after being on hold for 10 mins so we did not extend our stay. Lastly, we used valet & couldnt call them as phones were still down so i had to go down to the lobby & ask the assoc to let them know we needed our car. Valet was out & instead of leaving a message with my valet #, she told me to wait for them. After waiting for 5 mins, she leaves valet a note with someones elses valet number. She saw me waiting & was ready to leave before i stopped her & asked if she could also write my number down so I wouldn't have to wait. She paused, didnt say anything & did it but her face said a lot. This location is great, hotel is nice but needs work. Not worth what we paid.
