Poor overall due to customer service
Not a good experience for a supposedly 5 star property. Reception staff not helpful, didn’t help when I asked for assistance to print my boarding pass or whe noi wanted to know where they had taken my luggage- you just get directed to someone else. Lifts were a big problem as on most occasions you’d have to change lifts to get to the reception area (they don’t come quickly). Cleaning staff were superb, friendly and helpful. Bathroom was very dated, the shower door waterproof strip kept coming off , my adult daughters couldn’t regulate the water temperature as it was very stiff so ended up scolding themselves every time they showered. I paid extra for a view but it was partially blocked so disappointed they gave me that room - they did have a room with a better view but chose not to give me that. Location is excellent and I think that’s why swissotel don’t care about customer service, they will always have a customer base so don’t need to try.
