Lack of customer service. A lady didn't do the courtesy of informing me and my wife she worked there and if we needed anything, which we did. Coffee grinder wasn't working, most likely its missing a piece or its simply very old and not working, zero cell service and property doesn't offer their wifi info so there was NO WAY of contacting the office. The only reason i realized she worked there was after I Noticed her stopping by the other cabins. The main house is up the road but our driveway wasn't plowed both mornings I was there. On checkout day, the man plowing the main road notices that I am almost done shoveling the 6 cars can fit driveway and says, oh i can do that. Not bothering to first and foremost apologize for not doing so the day before. Just says, he didn't want to do it before 9am on checkout day because he didn't want to wake up anyone. Thus having me wake up early in order to shovel the snow so I can leave before or by 11am checkout time. Rules also stated we have to take the trash to the bins near the main house -again, snow issue, not to mention, what is the cleaning fee and housekeeping for if not to do just that. I did get a text saying we can leave the trash in the cabin and they will get it due to snow levels - again, no cell service until you are way down the highway so that text was received after I had left the property with the trash because i was afraid of extra fees being applied if I left it in the cabin.

I stayed here for two nights to provide "Trail Magic" to my daughter and friends hiking the PCT. The cabins almost straddle the trail at mile 250. The location is truly ideal. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and has a small but sufficient kitchen and outdoor gas BBQ. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot! I had fairly good cell coverage with Verizon. Form this location, I was able to skip back from Mission Springs Trail Camp and ahead to Big Bear on the trail over some rough forest service roads in a rented Jeep Wrangler.

Just right blend of rustic charm. Beautiful, peaceful seclusion. Perfect place to take a deep breath of crystalline air then breathe out the stress of everyday life!

Great getaway from everything
Great location away from everything, no mobile coverage so was a great way to disconnect from everything. Had some great board games. Hosts supplied us with so much breakfast food & water was great from the tap (rare in the states). They even came by on our second day & dropped off more food & snow sleds for our girls to use. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Only negatives were broken shower head (amazing water pressure though) & a fair bit of dog hair (a given though considering it’s a pet friendly property).

We loved our stay, will book this again.
We stayed there when in the mountains. When we walked in there was calm music on the stereo, fresh cinnamon rolls, fruit, fresh eggs, juices, and other items for the next morning breakfast. It was a lovely time for my wife and me, and was a surprise and pleasure we did not expect. We would give the highest rating for the facility and our stay. The cabin was clean, and clearly taken well care of. We would have stayed longer if we had the time, and will book and return again.

Secluded cabin 30 minutes from Big Bear Lake
Although the cabin wasn't ready when I arrived at 3:00 PM, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall, the cabin was comfortable and removed from the other cabins. I just wish the previous guests didn't let their pet lay on the bed. The long strands of fur were all over the comforter and the carpet. My dog and I enjoyed our stay.

Nice spacious cabin in a secluded area.
Stayed at the Juniper ridge home. Spacious and clean with a great outdoor space. Also a bonus game room that the kids loved. You're secluded on a hill at this house and the forest outside is all yours to sled or explore. Only drawback is that there's no wifi and our phones didn't get reception. No problem for a short stay - we like going off the grid especially for the kids once in a while but it may have been an issue for a longer stay. But overall, the house is great for the price and we will stay there again!

Private and romantic
We stayed in the Ironwood cabin and loved it. Highlights were the jacuzzi tub, the sky light in the bedroom and the fireplace. Also loved that the cabin we stayed in was set away from the other cabins and road.

Great Place!
This is a great getaway for a couple married or not. I recommend this place because it was very staff friendly and also very private away from Big bear tourists which was nice. My only recommendation is to bring food and water because the closest store is back in Big bear 20 miles away. Like I said its very secluded but you will love the peace and quiet. Each cabin has a full kitchen, hot tub Jacuzzi, fireplace and more. Ill be honest when my girlfriend and I first arrived we were freeked out because it was very secluded and we just watched the movie Getout which kinda reminded us of it lol but jokes aside we’re still alive you have nothing to fear it is a safe place and you will love it🙂

We will be back!
Do not hesitate to book a stay at Cienaga Creek Ranch! The pictures on-line provide a feel for the ranch; however, once you arrive you are in a little piece of heaven! We stayed in the Mountain Sunset suite, and upon arrival my wife and I were blown away by the pristine condition of the cabin amongst the pine trees. The inside of the cabin was immaculate, and coming from the hospitality services sector I noticed this right away. The cabin was very clean, orderly, and neatly decorated. I have stayed in numerous cabins in my young adult life, and this by far is the nicest cabin I have stayed in. Thank you so much for a great stay!!
