Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, next to the Mosque and scenic spots. The room was small but clean. The bathtub was small even for Asian ladies like us.

床小了點，但對亞洲人來說夠用了! 位置很方便、服務也好，比起附近的四星，它實在好太多了!
在cordoba三天，我們第一晚住在歐洲之星邁蒙尼德，第二晚才搬到Hostal Azahar，後者的整體表現比四星的好太多了啊! 床很舒適，環境整潔，不是前一晚Eurostars的凹陷床墊、用一半的衛生紙、狹窄的空間。hostal azahar房間也寬敞明亮多了! 有一個小陽台和佈置的很漂亮的中庭。雖然隔音沒有很好，但晚上還是很安靜。沒有附設餐廳不要緊，出去隔壁就是餐廳，選擇很多。wifi很快沒有鎖流量，而且真的很便宜!!!下次去我還會住那裡的!

Coudn't be happier
we couldn't be happier with our stay. Location was perfect with this beautiful, historic, lively area at out doorstep. Staff were very friendly & helpful and the Hotel had a nice vibe to it.

This hotel is right across the street from one corner of the Mesquita - Catedral and in the middle of the historic old town. Walkabouts are quite easy and full of interesting things to see free and to enter with tickets: equestrian dressage, historic dwellings, museums. Or you can just sit and eat.

Amazing place
The location is amazing. History is at your doorstep. The neighbourhood is simply beautiful. I was upgraded to a room with a large, south facing terrace on arrival. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Radiator in the room was appreciated. It was warm enough to sit out on terrace in the middle of the day and the ambience is great. Rest of the hotel is clean and pleasant. Receptionist is very helpful.

The Alzahar is a great choice for a serious traveler who wants the convenience of a very central location, without much tourist noise or crowds, and is ok with a hostal as opposed to a hotel. The rooms face toward an interior patio, which may not work for privacy worriers, but is very Spanish.
