I stayed here with my husband and our young daughter. It was such a heavenly place to relax after a long day of travel and walking. Exceptional, impeccable staff/host who were so accommodating and kind. The breakfast was wonderful and worth the extra cost. The rooms were beautifully designed and artfully conceived. Stayed in a room with a Japanese garden. It was truly an incredible stay. Highly recommend.

absolutely loved my 2-night stay at Kikokutei Bekkan and am already planning my return! The property was completely immaculate and provided the exact authentic, organic Kyoto cultural experience I was searching for. A massive thank you to the staff, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout my entire visit—they truly made me feel welcome. To top it all off, the traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing and a highlight of each morning. If you are looking for an immersive cultural stay with top-tier service, I cannot recommend this place enough!
