Sister was so nice to go with me to the tram station and waited until I got in the tram, after kept calling the taxi for more than half an hour still no taxi at all. I was so worry that I would miss my flight. I didn’t know where is the tram station. They even gave me the tram ticket. Tks so much Sisters. Really appreciated. Sure I will come back again. Very tidy simple and clean. U got all u need. My room faced the nice and quiet garden.

Secure, minimalistic with great air cond

This place was a 10 minute walk from SMN train station and around 15 minutes to the duomo. It is run by friendly nuns, secure, clean but sparce rooms with an excellent air conditioner for the really hot days Florence experienced. Washing machine on site.

Something a bit different

A really unique experience, a little hard to find but in a good location near to the train station and a short walk into the sights of Florence. We didn't have breakfast but it was one of the coolest places we stayed whilst in Italy

This is a place run by the nuns with all the moral " authority" and "superiority" I never in a million years could have been prepared for.It does not help that hotels.com doesn''t give a big heads up,I never even knew nuns run hotels.I came as I am - a single woman, obviously well of, a smoker(ouside, of course, while they watched from the window), in town for a Green Day concert. Both theirs and mine shock upon the first meeting was palpable and the situation did not improve during a 4-day stay. I myself am a militant atheist due to the horrors of the war in ex-Yugoslavia that I experienced as a young girl.Even though I watched with my own eyes the horrendous things stupid people do to each other in the names of their gods, I have given these nuns all the benefits of all the doubts possible. Suffice to say, they didn't return the favour. A secular, naive person like me still expects people of any god & religion to be better than the rest of us.They are unfortunately still far, far from it. Having seen how they treat completely normal, paying customers I would have paid big money to see how they would treat a beggar or a prostitute who came to their door asking for help. Shame on them! If you are a normal secular person I suggest you stay away. Their looks and attitudes are quaranteed to ruin the stay you paid for and looked forward to. All that aside, the beds are so small and hard that my hips and back hurt after three nights on them. Think hard before you pay to stay here.

This place was adorable, run by nuns who were all lovely with perfect English. The room was NOT in great condition. While very clean, moderately comfortable, the plaster on the walls needed serious help. This didn't really affect my stay, but the smell coming from the bathroom did. I kept the door shut and was fine, but I did try to avoid going in there if possible. Everything else about the stay was great. The location, the amenities, the garden, etc. The smart TV was nice too.

Never again

The bed was terrible, they said they offered breakfast and they didn’t. The best thing about it was the water was hot and they have an elevator. The location is also very good.
