Super beliggenhed. Lidt oversolgt på udsigten ‘Byudsigt’, der betød at vi kunne se ned på gaden. Fine rum med aircondition. Vi var der to overnatninger og havde alt, hvad vi gerne ville se inden for gåafstand. Flinke folk i ‘receptionen’.

Helpful staff and comfortable unit

The unit was a spacious one bedroom apartment. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was very helpful in arranging a transfer for me at midnight as my flight was delayed. The breakfast was at a nearby restaurant and was very pleasant. It is two blocks from the metro stop and the centrally located flea market as well as central market. Very convenient location.

Spacious, well located and value for money

Located in monastiraki which is very close to the Acropolis. Many restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel gave the codes for the main door and room in advance. The front desk which is staffed till 11pm was friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious with a microwave, coffee machine etc.

Artisan Suites was a great deal in a top location. The outdoor street can be loud, as it is a prime place for restaurants and cafes. Breakfast is not on site but just around the corner at a nice restaurant for a great change of pace. The rooms include a kitchenette with fridge and espresso machine, and an air well to allow a cross breeze in the room if you don’t want to use the AC. The staff are excellent and the property uses temporary codes, so you won’t have to worry about losing your key or card. Lastly, the staff was super helpful in showing where and how to get to important locations (like the bus terminals), and finding fair prices for taxis.

Insanely Loud

The room had a damp musty odor. There was a open cup of ice cream left in the freezer. There was no shampoo and we had to buy our own.There were no tissues either. Worst of all the hotel is near a music venue and music was blasting at concert level to 1am on Sat night. It was slightly better on Sun when it only blared until 11:15. Worst of all the price of $255 a night is not justified For all this I would give it ONE star

Big rooms, newly renovated, superb staff, great breakfast at Brunchers. My only complaint is the little bar across the street is quite loud until quite late, not the hotels fault, just a comment.

Hvis vi skal til Athen igjen, booker vi gjerne rom her neste gang også! Hotellet har god beliggenhet og rommene er nyoppussede og fine! Under oppussingen har de imidlertid glemt viktige detaljer. Det var f.eks. ikke knagger til å henge opp håndklær på badet eller rommet. Disse måtte henge litt her og litt der. Det var også en tungvint løsning med varmtvannsberederen for oss morgendusjere – man måtte skru på varmtvannsberederen selv 15–20 minutter før man skal dusje. Tidvis var det ekstremt dårlig trykk i dusjen. Vi ble også litt skuffet over frokosten. Frokosten var på en kafé rundt hjørnet. Denne kafeen var hyggelig, og det var helt ok frokost! Men som gjest på hotellet var det bare fire enkle retter å velge mellom. Dette ble fort kjedelig. Egg benedict – som hotellet selv har delt bilde av – kan man se langt bort fra om man ikke vil kjøpe dette for egen regning. Når det er sagt – alle som jobbet i resepsjonen var kjempehyggelige og imøtekommende! Resepsjonen er betjent fra tidlig til sent selv om man kan og må låse seg inn og ut.
