Fiona met us at the property and went out of her way to show us round and tell us every we needed to know. The room was gorgeous with lots of littles touches that made it special. Monk Bridge in York was our favourite stay after travelling all through England. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the entire B&B is lovely, with a serene backyard garden and a lounging room. The breakfast they serve is incredible with homemade selections. I’m allergic to eggs, usually a bit tricky for B&Bs, yet I had varied options to choose from. Its location is perfect, a 10 minute walk from the centre of York, in a quiet location with a few options very close. No stone is left unturned by Fiona & Paul, who are fantastic hosts and offered suggestions on some key sites. We would definitely stay here again!
