We had a lovely stay at the Zafiro Bahía. The reception and pool areas are really lovely, as was the restaurant and food! Check in was great, although it would’ve been nice to have been told where the activities were taking place, as we were only told when they were on.
It was a shame we had to rent a cot, safe and baby bath, you’d have thought in a family hotel they would have been included.
We stayed in a Royal Terrace Apartment, which had lovey views out to sea and the pool, the rooftop terrace was lovely. It would have been great to see a stair gate in the apartment too, as the stairs leading up to the terrace were inside, so easily accessible (and steep!) to a toddler.
I’m glad we weren’t self catering as I think the accessories in the kitchenette were a little basic, but overall the apartment was nice - though I would say starting to be due a bit of a refurb and paint job, just to bring it up to top notch standards.
The apartment was cleaned daily, which was adequate.
The food for an all inclusive hotel of this size was great! Plastic bowls, cups & cutlery for the children with a standard mix of pastas and pizzas for them, and then roasted meats and fish and paella for us - we didn’t have a meal that we didn’t enjoy!
I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone travelling without kids, it’s just so popular with families, it’s not the same type of relaxing as for those without children!
The beach is perfect for littleuns too!
