The room was okay. The bathroom was very small and had some mold in the corners of the shower. We were going to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant but there wasn’t a 4 top clean for us to sit down. We waited a several minutes until the bartender came out from the back and snapped at us to seat ourselves, but since there was nowhere for us to sit together, we just left. It was so disappointing because we had just arrived in Detroit and we were tired from our travels. We just wanted to eat at the hotel, but wound up having to walk a few blocks to the Lafayette Coney Island to have dinner. It was great by the way. Downtown Detroit is great, safe, and beautiful. There are better, similarly priced hotels to stay at- especially if you are in town for a sporting event.
