Had an unpleasant experience with the staff. I’ve stayed at the hostel before and had a great a stay and the staff were great however this time while at the I was in the lobby on a call where many guests hang out as a common space with the available couches, on the seventh day of my stay. While on the phone I was approached by one of the front desk staff and asked if I am staying at the hotel, I confirmed I was and was told I required a green wrist band, at this point none of the other 15 guests in the lobby had wrist bands, neither had any other guests throughout the 7 days had wrist bands. The staff member then asked me to come over to the desk in order to confirm my name and room number. I did what was asked of me and she put a wrist bands on me. The staff member then stayed behind the desk and continued with her work. After 2 mins I asked how come she wasn’t approaching the other guests in the lobby regarding the wrist bands. After hesitating she replied “Oh yes” and walked over to the other guests in lobby and started putting wristbands on them, she asked for their name and room number but did not ask them to come over to the computer to verify the details as she had me. She put the wristbands on 10 guests or so and made her way back to the desk, which I was standing close by.
