A charming hotel wirh great location and fabulous staff! The General Manager does everything he can to make your stay the best possible! Great atmosphere, close proximity to the train station, only two minutes walk- and close to the beach and everything else in Juan Les Pins. Quiet and very clean hotel. Highly recommended

Hotel le Sud is in an excellent location, only 2 minutes from the rail station, and convenient to the town centre, restaurants and the beach. Cleanliness is first class and reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and generally quiet and comfortable. My only issue is that I found the bed too hard for me (but others might have no issues). Certainly give it a go, the location and cleanliness is superb.

The staff were helpful and the hotel’s official 3* rating is about right. However compared to similar hotels it is further away from the sea and the main shopping/restaurant areas and certainly not worth £165 per night even for the ‘comfort room’ we selected which was extremely small.

Lovely little boutique Hotel in the center of JLP, around the corner of the train station, short walk to the beautiful beaches. Purposefully furnished rooms (not very big, but absolutely OK to stay few nights), very comfortable beds and functional bathroom with super water pressure in the shower. Nice and calm backyard with a small swimming pool and relaxation facilities, perfect option to cool down on warm summer days. The Foodtruck in the garden offers very tasty stuff during summer season, definetly a must try! A little fridge to cool the provided bottle of water would be a big add on to the room, exept of that, nothing is missing. The staff is always friendly and Khalil, the manager is a gem! Been here a few times already and definetly will come back!

The hotel’s photo gallery is deceptive…the rooms are so small and our room wreaked of cigarettes. Pretty photos are only good if it’s a reflection of the property in person. We immediately walked out and left the hotel to find a new place to stay. It’s on a rundown looking area as well and very difficult to find parking. I was very disappointed and I’m working with Expedia now for a full refund. I would not recommend.

Really great little hotel in Juan-les-Pins. It was my first visit to France . I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was locally owned which is always a plus. Khalil and his team run a best in class operation. Everything is clean, works properly, service is prompt, the bar and small pool are a lovely touch. Another bonus was its minutes walk from the train station but I never once heard the train from my room!. You can explore the entire South of France from this train or not and just stay in Juan les Pins which is a great beach town. I’ll definitely be back!

Cute little hotel with not so friendly staff
The hotel has a great location. Very close to the train station, as well as restaurants and the beach. Rooms are basic but nicely decorated. Lovely pool area with a food truck. We did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food, but other guests said it was lovely. The only let down was the staff. Some were sort of friendly, some were not at all. Felt almost afraid to ask for certain things.

I felt that it was a pretty good location close to the beaches in Juan Les Pins. And check in itself was fine, but there is no place for parking the car while checking in if the one little spot in front of the hotel on the narrow one lane one way street is already taken, which means you’ll have to wait your turn and hold up the traffic behind you. Additionally, the parking garage that is contracted with the hotel is a 6 min walk away and the entrance and exit to the garage is not so obvious unless you take some time to find it. I think the experience at the hotel can be streamlined more for the guests.

Full of French charm replete with a beach-vibe ambience whose Matisse style blue decor remind one of the South Pacific; Tahiti, New Caledonia — with a chilled out feeling that would not be out of place in Noosa Heads, Queensland Australia. It is however, unmistakably French: beautiful continental breakfasts on a sunny terrace with fresh Pain au Chocolate, Croissants, fresh jams of apricot, cherry and strawberry... lovely country bread with French cheeses and butter, yogurts and a vast assortment of nuts, seeds, dried figs, coconut and healthy options. The coffee was excellent, the freshly squeezed apple juice was a revelation alongside the bright and refreshing orange juice. The staff are gracious, multilingual— I heard Spanish being spoken alongside English and French. My room was bright, happy and clean—with lovely Provençal liquid soaps, an extendable clothes line to dry my bathers after a day at the beach (which was literally a 5 min stroll away). The room was quiet, the fellow guests respectful — after all this is the Côte D'Azur (not the Costa Brava) — and I had a small kettle to enjoy a coffee in bed first thing before showering for breakfast as all guests should. The air con was brilliant—there was a fan option as well as a setting that would have kept fruit cold while it was 29 degrees outside. There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance. My only comment would be that a small fridge would be a welcome addition: to keep a bottle of coke cold.
