The hotel did a lot well, but a few things could be done to match the standards of other international hotel brands.
What we liked
- the foyer was clean and tidy
- the breakfast was excellent as was the breakfast staff
- the room had a great view of the city
- the room was well proportioned, and airy,
- the hotel was modern
- the rooms were well sound proofed
- the hotel was walkable from the city centre
- the left luggage service which we used at the end of our trip was safe and secure
Things I felt which could have been better
- as we needed to use their bag drop / left luggage service we opted for a 'in person ' checkout. The queues were quite long for this and it took a little time to check out
- the complementary water bottle in the room was well received, but was only given on the first day of our trip
- although the hotel was perhaps aimed at business travellers, as leisure travellers we would have liked some sort of concierge service. Although the team at the front desk did try to help, and were pleasant, it was clear that providing such a service was not really in their remit
- the hotel bar was felt more like a reception than a bar to relax at the end of the day
