We arrived to be told they had no rooms with two beds, but that our room had a sofa bed - great! But it took ages for the hotel to bring linens to us, and when they did they only brought half of what we needed. A trip to the front desk got me the right things, but it was a step I should not have had to take.
In the morning, the water in the shower was cold, and we were two bath towels short. Breakfast was similarly lacking . There was a water dispenser but it was empty for the entire time we were at breakfast. The coffee and hot water for tea also ran out and were not refilled.
On the upside the staff were very nice, probably compensating for all the things that were just not great! It was graduation weekend, so the hotel was busy, but that should have been a highly predictable problem.
Had this been a $100 stay at the Super 8 I would have rolled with the punches - but this was a $400 stay at a Marriot!
