The accommodation was rather run down, and although not out right filthy, it was not clean. Examples: the old tile corners/edges held a buildup of grunge and there was actually food container garbage building up behind the bed stand.
The shower did not drain well. It took a fair bit of trouble shooting to get the lights to work. The phone (moved from a different room with a different room number still on it) had a short in the wire and did not work reliably. With a reservation for 2 people for 2 nights, there was only one bath towel in stock. Our request for more towels took a long time to fill and then we received only one more. The room keys failed to work after 24 hours and needed to be rescanned at a late hour.
Still, we had no safety issues and the price was right and the staff was pleasant. Hey, I guess you get what you pay for.

Before cruise hotel
Very dated hotel the elevator did not work so had to carry luggage up to 3rd floor
Reception staff very nice so was the breakfast staff
Sockets at the bedside did not work

All LaQuintas arenr equal & you get what you pay f
The person at check in was friendly and helpful, even offering me a map to help me locate my room. He informed me that the elevators wrrr out of order but the stairs were right near our room. The room was neat but I could still see remnants of the last guests which made me question how clean the room really was. Nail polish stained walls and doors that were poorly reframed- there were some crumbs left under the table, hair on the mirror, and some cheap rings under the dresser (my dog found that). Not to mention someone used a hanger to keep the curtain shut! A HANGER (clever, but why is that even necessary?).There werent many plugs- just 1 near the bed which is huge because I use a cpap machine to sleep and had to charge my phone in the restroom. The table has about 4 plugs, none of which worked. I guess you get what you pay for here. I personally wouldnt stay longer than 24 hours- 48 max.

Not a great experience
Window framing coming apart, carpets nasty, stains in bath tub, crack in the sink, carpet needs shampoos. Bed was at least decent. The mgr was cross to her staff and the customers. Owners need to come in and invest and fix for your customers or won't have any.

Worst experience
Piss stained room, sheets had stains on them, feces were left uncleaned on the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t work, the room seriously was overwhelmingly smelling like urine and feces.

DON’T STAY HERE, the price says it all
We checkout after less than 30 and this included changing rooms. The hotel was advertised to have EV parking, several lights in the room didn’t work ands we couldn’t get the A/C to turn on. Same problems in the new room we were put in, not to mention yelling rowdy pot smoking other guests right above us. I’ve stayed in some crappy places fire just a night but no A/C did it for me. The front desk person was polite but clueless and couldn’t answer simple questions like where was the EV parking advertised ands if the Denny’s right next door was open 24 hours. I was also not refunded the whole amount paid for the room so I will be calling my credit card company to file a compliant.

Customer service was wonderful. Room was absolutely filthy. No grab bar in shower. No clock in room. Mildew behind nightstand. Trash under the beds. Room keys did not work. Secondary door lock did not work.

Bad Hotel. Should go out of business
It was horrible. The front desk manager was openly hostile towards me for no reason. I booked through your site and had a dog with me. The hotel wanted $350 in addition to my room stay which is completely unreasonable. And you hotels.com did not disclose this on your site

It was a nightmare
It was truly bad. When we reached the hotel, the guy at the desk told us that the key system was not working so if we needed to leave the room someone will need to come and lock the door for us and when we came back to the room someone will need to open it for us. And, oh, the elevator was also not working. So you still want to check in, sir? I said no but all's me talk to hotel.com first because half of my payment was in the form of the OneBuck that hotel.com has rewarded me for using the app over several previous bookings made through the app. I was told that the hotel would not give me a refund even though it was the hotel's own fault that we could not stay there. I am still talking with hotel.com to see if they would reimburse me the award bucks at least. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but if they don't refund me this award bucks I'm never going to use this app again.
