The voyeur hotel

The hotel might have been nice back in the day; however, I couldn’t see any conditions in today’s visit that would be described as nice. What was most unsettling is that walking down the hallway in the hotel, you can look into everyone’s rooms. In our room, you could see not only the bed but straight to the bathroom, full toilet visibility from the hallway, which was odd. Also, we could never understand why there were two peep holes on every door. The building oddities a building oddities aside everything was worn down, it was also dirty. In the bathroom, all tile, I could see other people‘s hairs on the bottom of the shower and on the walls. There was a stained dirt line near the bed, which I’m assuming was where the old dust cover used to rest; now it was just left bare and all the paint was chipping. It gave an overall grunge aesthetic. When I was reviewing the pictures posted, these were not the same rooms that I was staying in. I don’t know if they put a filter on the photos they took. But it felt almost like a lie when I walked into the room.

Dont let pics fool you.

Originally when I booked online I was told I was going to have a room with a balcony when I got there I did not and was willing to let that go but then our AC leaked in our bathroom like all night long and we had the bathroom door shut so we didn't know till the next day. So when my boyfriend got up the next morning to use the restroom he slipped and fell on all the water. the maintenance man told me it was the condensation line being clogged and it was literally leaking down from the ceiling all the way into the Hall in front of our door and in our restroom it was completely soaked all the way back to the wall. The pool table is out of order a lot of things were just kind of run down looking and not like the pictures there's no propane for the grills we couldn't even get extra towels to try to clean up the water that was leaking we had to go down to the gym and get them ourselves even though we called and requested them when I went to the front desk the lady was not very helpful about trying to get it resolved she did get the maintenance man up but she wasn't willing to let me have like a late check out or anything to continue getting ready but we couldn't use the restroom while I was being worked on and while it was soaking wet. Also they did not even clean up the water after they fixed the problem. Needless to say our stay here was not very enjoyable.

There was nothing plus about this best western. It smelled old and musty. The door to our balcony wouldn’t secure. The water in the tub wouldn’t go down. Speaking of the balcony. There was a stain that never went away, we thought it was water but it never dried up. Looks like it had never been cleaned. We went and checked out the pool, it was packed Friday night and worst of it there was a creepy security guard just checking out the girls.

The check in staff was nice. The room was clean. The hall floors were filthy. They advertise a bar on site but you have to pay a cover charge to go in and order a drink which is absolutely ridiculous.

We booked two queen beds, and were given a room with two doubles. Our room flooded because of a bad air conditioner, so we had to change rooms. I asked the front desk to have two queen beds like I ordered. She looked at a co worker and asked if the queens were available. He said yes and she gave me the room. When we arrived at the room, TWO DOUBLE BEDS!!! Then the shower wouldn’t drain. I went to the front desk in the morning to complain, to be told by the supervisor that the property didn’t even have queen beds. They lied just to shut me up.
