Nice laid-back, low-key vibe Good restaurants Good boat tours Beaches on this island are mostly rocky, this isn't really a swimming/snorkelling place but there are opportunities on nearby islands

Excellent
I wanted rural and family run, beach front and quiet. I got all that. Not the place to go if you want to party, or see museums or shopping.

"We loved everything about this property, from the amenties to the food. It is a huge complex with three pools, and 5 restaurants to choose from. The staff are friendly and the facility is beautiful. The beach is nice, but the time we went it was rough so we did not swim in it. Instead, we got to explore the reef during low tide and see the fish and other marine life. There is a free shuttle to Patong which makes it very convienent. We can't wait to go back again one day!"
"Handy walk into Patong if you want noise and nightlife. Massive soft bed. Great pools. Late checkout. Lounge with showers available to use after checkout if you have late flights. Delicious restaurant Sea Salt across the road on the beach. "
"Definitely include the breakfast if you're going to stay here. The pool is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Its also convenient to have a coffee shop in the hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants withing walking distance and the beach is also a 5 minute walk. "
"Had an amazing stay at this resort. The rooms were really spacious and so comfortable to sleep in. The pools were never full so it was super easy to get a sun lounger and the free towels to use were so handy. The staff at the pool bars were so helpful especially at the Pomelo pool which was also over 12s only therefore relaxed and quiet. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and the shuttle bus service around the resort was a great service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this resort if you are heading to the Karon beach area."
