"Had such a great stay at Rixos! Our favorite was the morning breakfasts on the roof, with our wonderful server Cucú (Kookoo) who would make it such a great experience. "I don't have any complaints about the hotel. it is a like a oasis in a desert. beautiful view from the terrace with breakfast. in fact for such price you should not have even a single complaint. the breakfast was good. the hotel is clean and nice
the only concern is the it is in noisy area. but if you are visiting for couple of days it is ok. it is a not a resort where you come to relax for a week. you can see the real Egypt outside of the hotel. :)"

"It was an absolute pleasure staying at Noya. It's the perfect getaway right at the outskirts of Cairo. It's also perfect if you're looking for a peaceful stay around the pyramids and the museum.
The view from the rooftop is amazing...you get to see the pyramids and a unique view of Cairo.
The place is very well kept (the gardens, the pool, the rooms...etc.) and the interior design is quite tasteful.
The staff are very friendly, helpful and generous with their time and treats.
I will...

The hotel is less than basic the rooms are not overlooking the pyramids only the roof the breakfast is very basic and there is no shower sink and no hot water no supplies in the bathroom or the room (but the whole hotel is renovated with clean spaces) ventilation inside the room is poor some are from internal ducts and you can smell the horses in the area"

"This hotel is okay in few aspects but many problems:
1. This hotel is on top of a residential building so signs for the hotel in the front is not visible
2. Views of Giza might be “okay” but heres the cavat, when you look below, it is a very busy bus terminal with 24/7 noise that you have never heard before (unless from here). All day honking, noise throughout the next morning and continues..
3. Room is not soundproof at all.. so beware
4. Water pressure stopped the day we came back from...

"Point positif, le service pickup depuis l'aéroport,
la vue depuis le balcon, les pyramides !
Le personnel qui est sympathique et essaye de répondre à nos demandes.
La chambre est correcte,
C'est l'état général de l'immeuble et de l'ascenseur qui est très dégradé,
l'hôtel est une partie du 6 eme etage, le reste est un immeuble assez délabré.
Si vous êtes assez courageux pour arriver jusqu'au 6 eme etage, après c'est OK"

Giza is very close to the pyramids. You get a real feel for the local area with camels and horses on the streets and local shops. It is not an opulent area but great for an authentic experience. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Overall great!

The pyramids & sphinx make Giza more than memorable. Giza lives on tourism, so you are constantly solicited to buy, take a ride, hire a guide, etc. It takes getting used to. But, after all the haggling, the people are very friendly

This is a very busy area for tourists and locals. It was truly an experience I will never forget. I saw so many camels and horses. It was exciting to immerse ourselves in the local community. Fascinating. Better than we hoped for.

We can highly recommend saqqara and Dahshur! Less crowded and just as interesting (if not more) than the big pyramids! The new museum is amazing! But at this point I'd still go see both (the big, old one and the new one)

Be aware that this is a tourist area and there are many people hustling to make a living. The people are polite. There are Uber drivers in the Giza district that may try and scam you. Advice: Do not stray from the Uber advertised price. File a report

If you buy your ticket for the Giza plateau online, you can have breakfast at 7 then be first into the site at 7:30 (the entrance is 80 metres from the hotel). I had a wonderful visit while it was cool & finished before it got hot & crowded.

Giza is as advertised. Pure chaos, noisy and dirty, but when you are coming to see the pyramids it's all part of the experience. The city does not take away from the marvel of seeing the pyramids and sphinx from the balcony or roof of your hotel!

It's near the Pyramids so very handy for couple of nights. Not much to do nearby in the evenings. Beautiful weather and friendly staff made our stay good.

"This place is beyond fantastic. Everything is beyond exceptional. Staff here treat it as if it’s their own business. You get a very warm personalized experience and staff are will to help with anything. View of the Pyramids of Giza makes this place an amazing place to stay in. I am definitely coming back. I initially booked 3 nights but ended up staying for a week. Great job Khan Duidar "
"I stayed with family for few days and loved the place. Beautiful and best pyramids view from the roof top. They have suits on the roof top that you can see the pyramids while in your suite. Enjoyed the jacuzzi in suite while looking at the pyramids. Very helpful staff to advise you on your plans. The owner stayed at the premises most of the time and very friendly with everyone. Thanks for the hospitality!!!"
"Wonderful staff - very friendly and accommodating. They arranged the airport shuttle, answered our questions, and made sure we were happy. We received a pleasant welcome drink upon arrival and were given a free dinner our first night that was good and filling. The included breakfasts were great, and had more food than we could eat - bread, egg, cheese, meat, falafel, yogurt, vegetables, coffee and juice. The room, while small, had great A/C, good WiFi, and a comfortable bed. The hotel is very close to the Sphinx gate of the pyramids and has a great view from the roof."
"Stay was brilliant , an excellent view of the pyramids from both our room and over breakfast. We had some trouble with our taxi that we arranged but the manager happily helped out and got us a replacement at short notice that cost us less. So I can recommend this hotel enough."
"An amazing location where we were able to wake up to views of the Sphinx and Pyramids each morning! The rooftop terrace was perfect to watch the evening light and sound show.
The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, offering great suggestions for local food and souvenirs.
Not knowing what to expect in Egypt, we felt very safe in the area, so would highly recommend this to other travelers!"
"We had an amazing experience right next to the pyramids and the sphinx. The patio dining provided a wondrous view with excellent service and delicious food. The rooms are clean and large with great ac. The front desk service, particularly from Ahmed, was helpful and courteous. "

"I really liked the rooftop sitting area and the view from the rooftop, the room was nice and cool which was great because it's summer here at the moment. The hotel manager and staff gave A+ service and i always felt well looked after. They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and breakfast was always served fast and deliciously 😋
Thank you Almas Pyramids Hotel!"
"An Unforgettable Stay at Horizon Pyramid View Inn
From the moment I arrived at Horizon Pyramid View Inn, I was impressed. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, but what truly took my breath away was the amazing view—waking up to the Great Pyramids right outside my window was an experience I’ll never forget.
The room service breakfast was excellent, always delivered on time and with care. The reception staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth and always greeting us with a smile. It was also very easy to arrange tours and transportation through the hotel, which made exploring the area stress-free.
The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Great Pyramids, offering not only convenience but also a chance to see the real Egypt beyond the usual tourist spots.
A special thanks to Adeel for making our stay even more memorable. His personalized tours, kind attention, and even hosting us for dinner made a lasting impression. He is not only knowledgeable and professional but also a truly wonderful human being."
