"I've been staying at Mardis Gras since it opened, and always enjoyed the property. Currently, they're undergoing a major renovation, it's really looking great, and I'm super excited to see the final result. The morning crew at the front desk, took the best care of me while checking in. I originally booked a standard room, and they gave me a generous upgrade to a very nice renovated suite. They were very polite, helpful, and did everything imaginable to make sure my stay was great. This has been a great hotel/casino experience from day one, and I can only expect that they will continue. Very pleased, and can't wait to make my return!"
"The place was very updated and pleasant. Beds and room were comfortable, breakfast was good. The shower in our room was not cleaned very well if at all. The shower floor was slippery and stained and there was hair in the corner."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff is really what set this place apart. They had 120 check-ins the day we arrived and yet everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We were sad to find the pool closed, but again, the staff exemplified what hospitality is all about and offered other ways for us to have a 5 star experience, and did it upfront, happily, and without making us feel like an imposition. There’s much to say about the whole place, but what’s important is this: I encountered directly, at least 7 staff, all of whom were exceptional.
Embassy Suites has positioned itself first on my list of hotels after this stay, and I hope all our road trips have them along our way!"
