Asked front desk for a spoon to feed one year old baby. This was after breakfast hours and we were told no because they were put up. They could have easily given a plastic spoon to accommodate an infant.

Overall our stay was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, no issues at all. Only thing I noticed was we stayed on the 5th floor and when entering the hallway there was a very strong smell of cigaret smoke. There were not smoking rooms, so my guess was a guest ignored this. I was traveling with a child and it was perfect for a quick overnight stay at an affordable rate. Staff at the front desk were great.

Driving up to the property was the time I’ve ever felt that I made a mistake booking a hotel. As you enter the parking lot you are greeted with over a dozen homeless people camping outside the hotel, a handful of dr*g deals going on, and the odor of second hand cr*ck smoke. If you’re willing to risk your life for a subpar hotel this would be a good one to stay at. Even the locals hadn’t heard of it since this hotel is on its fifth or so name change because it’s so bad. If you’re looking to visit Charleston WV and want to wake up to the smell of day old urine, part take in the fent*nyl lean, or find out how fast you run away from danger this would be hands down the place to book.

Parking is free but its a small lot. There are tons of homeless people so safety is a potential concern. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The front desk staff isn't very friendly. The location isn't bad. Its about a ten minute walk to the civic center and mall. Overall its an ok place to stay for the price but if you can find something similarly priced I'd encourage you to do so.

Room was very clean. Staff was super friendly. Decor was nice and modern looking. Unfortunately, the toilet paper wasn’t stocked. The faucet in the bathroom would only produce blistering hot water and the shower wouldn’t get hotter than room temperature. As for the kitchenette, there were no cooking pots, utensils, or plates. The front desk didn’t have any either. The pillows were wicked flat (typically there are two types). Bed was comfortable and the ac/heating unit worked well.
