"I was very disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The facilities are outdated, and the room I was given initially had a very small balcony with a broken balcony door that wouldn’t close properly—possibly due to humidity and poor maintenance. I booked a “sea view room with balcony” online, but the balcony was tiny, there was no sea view at all, and the door was broken.
When I requested to cancel the booking upon check-in, the hotel refused. They offered to change my room but only to one without a balcony, and refused to refund the price difference. I had booked for two nights. The front desk told me that if I didn’t stay the first night, I could get a refund for the second night—but not the first. I asked to speak to the manager, and they said the manager would only be available the next morning at 9 AM.
I reluctantly stayed the first night, thinking I would speak to the manager the next day and get the second night refunded. However, when I finally met the manager, they said the second night was also non-refundable. In the end, I paid full price for a room that did not match what I booked and received no compensation or proper assistance.
This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."
