I was not impressed with the temperature of the food when being served at the restaurant(s) in this resort. The food tasted as though it was pre-cooked which took away the delicacy of the flavors. I also felt the food could have been seasoned slightly better to the authentic level of Antigua. Being a decendant of the country, i feel as though they are a little shy in this area. Apart from the above, its a beautiful hotel for aesthetics.

I know you effin' lyin'

This place should be ashamed of charging this much for a luxury suite! My sister sent me videos and pictures which you will see below, because I wasn't able to make it due to flight and seat issues. This faculty that was incomplete or not done I don't know what is going on. Part of the shower bottom on the outside chipped. How do we get part of our money back? I also since I wasn't there my sister still got charged the $15 fee for me and we need that returned as well. So we already put a call to the Royalton about that part.. I'm not going to say don't stay here, but I will say the price is not worth it. Most of my friends that went and including my sister all said the staff acted like they were on vacation!

Customer service training is required for most employees. It was observed that customers of a certain racial background were treated with more respect and attentiveness. Even though we waited between 90 mins and 2 hours after check-in time to receive our rooms, employees seemed annoyed at us when we asked for updates. Some employees were not very welcoming and appeared as if they dud not want ti be there. They had terrible attitudes.

I did not enjoy my stay. The rooms were not clean. Furniture in room broken. A lot of flies. Did not appreciate the dogs and cats walking around. The check in was a terrible experience. They gave me the incorrect room and my room key did not work after 11pm-12am.

horrible! horrific!!!!! Not sure where majority of the staff are from but they aren’t antiguan!! Staff isn’t well trained. Hours without running water. No soap in restrooms throughout the property for 7 days. Cats in the kitchen and all over the resort. This place looks nice but it’s a poop cruise with the same buffet food daily.

I liked that everything was in close vicinity. Loved that you didn't have to travel outside of resort to eat or shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to say my first experience was a blast and I really enjoyed myself. So I definitely look forward to returning in the future.

Overall, the property was just OK. I paid for a swim out pool and was not able to utilize it because of the construction they were doing next-door to my room. Constant debris and people working, made it impossible to enjoy the swim pool. In addition to this swimmer pools are all facing the main walkway so people are constantly looking at you. The staff overall was poor. Their personality the way they handled you was unbelievably bad from a simple request for a bottle of water to them trying to see a group was a horrific experience. While the property has the potential to be better, their lack of etiquette in the service industry will be their biggest hurdle. I was taking a back when a waiter sucked his teeth at me when I asked him to fill up my glass of water. They constantly ran out of food and liquor. Overall, I won’t visit that property again nor will I recommended to anyone.
