Filthy Hotel Inside and Out

I had to change roomes because the bathroom, fllors and room.was not clean. There was hair from shaving all over the bathroom counter, toothpaste and toothpaste spit all over the ckunter and sink. The toilet had hair and was not clean. The floors were filthy and hadn't been cleaned at all. When I changed rooms the TV screen was broken and couldn't be used. The floors were also dirty. Beer bottles and cigarette butts all over the premises and stair wells. There was no noise ordinance as the people above us jumped around and moved thier bed, furniture and music until 2 am. The only positive was the front office staff. Even though we had A LOT of issues the staff was patient and at least tried to the best they could with the limited staff and resources they had. Even so, I will never stay at this hotel or another Extended Stay Hotel again.

Came back for a repeat visit and room was infested with roaches at check in. Told management and staff, they did nothing to help, no refund, no room change. Drexel, April, Very Unprofessional treatment. Especially all the surveys they ask us to make for them so they can look good. Do right by people. Very simple. I booked this property because it advertised Free Hot Breakfast. If by "hot" it means microwaveable oatmeal packets and grab and go pastries, then I suppose it's lost in translation. Not a great area either.

This was an overnight stay; although the hotel advertises non-smoking and available breakfast, the room smelled of cigarettes and breakfast was granola bars. It is close to a major highway and the noise level was a bit high; I kept the fan on to mask the noise.

This was my second stay at this location. My first stay, I asked the front desk clerk for a coffee station (for my room) as I work odd hours. Unfortunately, while they had the coffee pot, they could only supply instant coffee. So, this time around, I specifically asked for a coffee station for my room during booking. I’d hoped the advance notice combined with the specific request would’ve been plenty… No luck. For a hotel to provide a stove, fridge, microwave, etc., yet be unable to supply a coffee station for its guests is unfortunate. I’ll be staying a 3rd time; if they strike out again, I’ll be forced to select a new “go to” hotel for this area. Note: I included the coffee issue under the “Staff & Service” section.
