Even though the accommodation is a bit outside of uluwatu we loved our time there so much and spend most of the time in the resort, since it was such a beautiful place. This property was just we needed after a busy stay in ubud. The pool, the good, the staff all superb. The room decor was just fabulous, only issue is getting around this hide property can be a task. Once you figure out the layout of the hotel and to get around everything is a 10 out 10. Oh let’s not forget the awesome spa !!

The only thing ill say is the restaurant is quite expensive compared to the ones outside even in tourist location. But the included breakfast buffet did make up for it. We would defintely stay again.

Staff are friendly similar to all hotels in Bali so far. There’s definitely catering to a western audience here compared to local or boutique hotels. Very extensive breakfast included, delicious. The pool is gorgeous overlooking the ocean. We wanted late check out which they could not accommodate but they have a lounge for travelers with late departure so that is a perk I haven’t seen other hotels do.

We are thankful to the genuinely warm and friendly hospitality team at Renaissance for giving us an amazing experience. We were in awe of the grandeur of the lobby accompanied by a perfect selection of lounge house music when we first arrived. Wow what a view and atmosphere. We really loved the modern cosy decor of our suite with balcony, open bath and large windows facing the greenery, open landscape and the sea. We enjoyed the large buffet spread, pool, spa, massage and gym facilities too. All good except for the undrinkable water that’s only acceptable for shower. Need to buy mineral water for boiling for coffee and brushing teeth. R Bar, Clay Craft and Double Ikat also offers fantastic food and drinks throughout our stay. Beautiful hotel! Highly recommended.

Arriving at the Renaissance Bali was like arriving to a dream.  We booked a driver through the hotel for a late 11P pickup at the airport. He was there on time, cheerful and gave us helpful tips along the ride.  Upon arriving, the staff gave us a much welcome juice and cold towel to freshen our faces after a long travel day.  We were helped to our room with our luggage, and the room was immaculate. Comfortable, beautiful, clean, and cool.  We slept very soundly.  Over the next few days, we enjoyed beyond excellent hospitality, delicious food at breakfast and the poolside restaurants, and tasty beverages.   We loved the peaceful nature of the property, and were especially delighted when searching for the owl conservation, one of the staff invited us to feed the owls with him. Thank you Siarna! We will never forget that experience.

Very inconvenience hotel with separate Wings

They have separate Wings and Will use golf buggy to pick you up since its quite far from one another. This is when its become troublesome since if you stay say at the corner wing basically you have to call and wait for a buggy everytime you want to go for breakfast, Back from breakfast, go out from the hotel etc. Furthermore, they often dont pick you up after one call and you Need to do another call before the buggy finally comes. Happened to me 3 times during my 2 nights stay. I Will not recommend this hotel for people that not looking for Resort type hotel

The stay was great, the hotel staff (except for one woman at the reception) were very nice and accommodating. The staff in the restaurant and at the bar were super friendly and great hosts. the food is excellent, just always wonderful. the room was very nice and very clean. In general we found the hotel area to be very clean. The older and oldest lady at the reception, on the other hand, was disrespectful and unfriendly - as a woman, I couldn't order a taxi without her asking my husband for permission and wanting confirmation that I could order the taxi. Once I asked her for water, and then she also asked my husband if it was ok if I got some water. Culture or not, it may be that she has nothing to report at home, but in my opinion this lady can't deal with female tourists in the hotel - she definitely didn't give me a holiday mood but rather a longing for Europe. I also couldn't ask about excursion destinations, e.g. visiting temples, without her asking my husband if I was even allowed to do that. Even when I went to the toilet once, she ran to my husband to tell him where I was. In any case, it was nice that other hotel employees were respectful and very warm to us. I would visit the hotel again thanks to the lady who only respects men - definitely never again :)
