Perfect little place

We stumbled upon this little place by chance and it didn't disappoint. Superb value hot money. We booked a suite, so had ample room for relaxing. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed and substantial breakfast for the price we paid. The restaurant in the pub was lovely the staff were so kind and friendly and the food was exceptional, we will definitely come back

Simon, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Convenient but a bit soulless

The room was small and a bit cramped, clean and a good bathroom.
Felicity, 1-night trip

Great food at this pub

Good room, nice big bed. Continental breakfast included, entirely self service but had all you need. Meal in the pub was really delicious. Would happily return.
Lesley, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The pub, staff and food was fantastic. Room was comfortable but paper thin walls so not the quiet over night we hoped for, but still a pleasant stay away.
Cheryl, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean and much bigger than it looked on the website. Pub staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. Breakfast options were plentiful and for the price of the deal, I couldn’t recommend highly enough. If it had been twice the price, it would have been worth it.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet, situated right next to the public house, great food, parking right outside, lovely bright super clean room with lovely comfy bed.

A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.
Angela, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Breakfast was very disappointing with no imagination and completely self service
Louise, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely room, good value for money. Fabulous shower. Able to have a meal at night if required. Only drawback was the room and bathroom was very dark....not enough lighting.
Sian, 2-night trip

Accommodation interesting

The suite accommodation was very interesting with the bed on a mezzanine floor. This was very comfortable and was the strongest positive point of the stay. Sadly the internet (which also controlled the TV) was extremely patchy and unusable. The restaurant (a pub dating back to 1560) was charming but had problems with service which was slow. Food was OK but nothing special.

Evening meal was lovely, just a little disappointed about breakfast as we didn’t realise it was just cereals toast and yogurt. The fruit in the fruit bowl was a little soft.
