2nd time in 20yrs and didn't recognise the place! Looking through a 60yr olds eyes its lost its charm but we were still able to find some pockets of quiet, Silver beach, Paradise bar 5min walk down the beach, Fishermans village to name a few.

Had a great pampering session at Golden nail salon! Mani, pedi and got some lash extensions! My husband got a new tattoo at D'Art Tattoo studio! We enjoyed the tour around the island seeing all the beautiful temples!

The beach at this area has sand much more rough than Chaweng, definitely stay here though at least 1-2 nights and experience the night market on Friday/saturday, easy walking distance, good way to experience another part of the island

Choemeng beach is a good quiet location. Good hotels at reasonable prices. Beach better than fisherman's village and sea much cleaner

If I had one criticism, it there weren't enough cost hangers !
Please bear in mind this hotel is up a step hill . It is 40 minute walk to fisherman's village or quick taxi.

"Lovely quiet resort, that gave you a workout the paths are quite steep, but always a man in a golfcart eager to give you a ride to the top. If you want a ride into town you have to book for the free shuttle the day before. We missed out on this because we were only here for 2 days. They dont seem to have footpaths into town so a bit unsafe."
"The hotel was stunning. Breath taking views. Super clean. Staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Could not fault a thing about the hotel and staff. My only concern was it was a little far out to the main restaurant areas like Fisherman's Village etc. but they do offer a shuttle bus to drop you and pick you up. "
"We had a wonderful relaxing day at Briza beach resort staff were amazing. Everybody was so friendly and professional Ken the manager was amazing very great guy Ammy was very friendly and a very hard worker Pat or Patricia cooked the most wonderful eggs I’ve ever had in any restaurant anywhere in the world. I recommend any Aussie family or couples or friends staying together. You have to get down to the Briza great rooms delicious buffet breakfast very good price and wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Thanks very much for a great day to the team at.briza beach resort we will be back thanks guys"
