Watch out for the Parking

No parking on site, you have to go to a separate lot a few blocks away, which fills up, so you go to another unmarked lot a few more blocks away. They charged me $700 total but they don't let you park in their unmarked far away lot between checkout and the next guest's checking in. They told me "find your own paid parking," made it a tricky day in the boardwalk. $700 for a 1 bed 2 person room + they threaten to tow you if you leave your car there is crazy. Also beware, Hotels.com will not include your resort fee in the price. This is not the hotel's fault, and the fee is $20.

From the start parking terrible. For the amt of money I paid for 4 days I should not have to walk 2 blocks to park or pay extra for a closer spot. We are a retired couple, had to carry all of our belongings to the room because nobody could find a cart. Had to empty our own garbage and get clean towels from the front desk daily. Beds are likke sleeping on cement blocks. Our door stuck so bad it screeched every time you opened or shut it. On the positive side balcony great and right on boardwalk. I can say with confidence I will never stay there again.

Location is the selling feature

Enjoyed the proximity of the hotel and not needing a car to enjoy. Didn’t realize parking wasn’t at the hotel, was free but in a lot a block/street over. Elevator was slow and maybe just a fluke, but a lot of flies in the pool area (inside pool) Even at the front desk she was swatting away flies the one day. Not many towels were provided in comparison to other places, especially since a 4 occupancy room. It is a cute hotel and love the location. If it’s peak season, you’re totally paying for location. I’d probably only stay here again off-season.

Great Weekend Getaway Hotel

Great hotel for our weekend getaway. Fantastic location, friendly staff, very clean, nice little balcony, close to everything. Only minor quibbles -- slow elevator, only one ice machine, and the water pressure in our shower was nearly non-existent (possibly a factor of being on the top floor). Overall, a really nice stay, and we would absolutely book again.

Friendly but not fair

My room door was very hard to close and open due to carpet getting stuck. They would not give me another room and someone pooped in the pool.

Great view of the ocean. Any food or beverages you would want is in walking distance. The inlet is about 1.5 miles. My only complaint is the bed was to hard and the pillows were to soft.

Reeking smell

Fine room 601 but while unpacking I got a big whiff off marijuana in my bathroom, I opened the room door and it reeked. Front desk was contacted they moved me to room 607. Better view but the next night the hall reeked of pot again. No hot water in sink to wash face. Front desk ladies are nice but the room 602 should have been kicked out.

Good location - but room for improvement

The location was about halfway up the boardwalk which was nice because you were away from the chaos of the pier. The room wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped (dirty bed sheets, dirty sleeper sofa), and it was a bit cramped making it hard to function with 3 people in the room. There are high chairs on the deck which also aren’t for everyone (we traveled with an elderly person who couldn’t easily get in or out of those chairs). The drawers in the dresser fell apart when we got the covers for the sleeper sofa from it. There was an ungodly bright light on our patio which made it difficult to sleep at night even with the curtains drawn. Finally, the elevator sounded like it needed work. We often wondered if we’d get stuck on it.
