We are requesting a refund for the reservation we made at Glenduff Manor house because the actual accommodations were not at all like what was described and shown in photos on Travelocity. The photos showed a stately home with lovely private rooms for the guests. It stated that a delicious breakfast would be served daily. It also described a pub for the guests on site. As it turns out, the pub was always closed, the stately home/manor was closed, there was never any breakfast for anyone, and to our great disappointment and shock we did not stay in the manor, but in a separate building with a separate entrance. It was a very modest apartment. The manor house was closed, no staff, no guests, it appeared shut down for business. Our lodging was a red and white building behind the Glenduff Manor house. We are very disappointed. Therefore, we did not get in any way shape or form what we paid for!
As a side note the Travelocity listing was updated this week and has changed significantly. It says the bar is closed and no longer mentions a breakfast. However the photos are still of the Glenduff Manor exterior and interior, not the actual apartment building that we stayed in. We will never book with Travelocity again unless we receive a total refund.
