Friendly and accommodating, Al Piazza Marina featured an immaculate room in a great location in Kalsa. I arrived in the morning for an afternoon check in, just hoping to leave my bag. They had a room that was ready, and they gave me an early check in without me even asking. The room was extremely clean (I'm picky) and the water pressure was terrific, a completely unexpected surprise since that is often not the case anywhere in Italy, no matter where you are staying. The breakfast room is very small, but breakfast itself was fresh and plentiful. They kindly let me leave my bag for the morning the day I left. The street is very quiet and the atmosphere casual and welcoming. It's not fancy, but my room had two balconies and the bed was extremely comfortable. I'd happily stay there again.

Interior was a little dated but quiet for a big city like Palermo and the location near Piazza Marina and the Lungomare was great! One of the best restaurants in Palermo almost directly across the street! Breakfast nice and owner conveniently offered to take us to the train station instead of waiting for a taxi for a nominal fee.
