This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Expected more for the price point

This hotell is in prime position, overlooking the water and a 12 minute walk into the town centre. To get to the beach, they have stairs (184 steps, i counted) snd you can either sit on one of the private beaches, or like us, buy a €10 umbrella and ger comfy on the sand (the hotel supllies brach towels, no limit). The staff were all anszjng snd accommodating, could not fault them. Always ups for a chat, with a smile and they even laughed at our Aussie humour. Our room (305, seaview) was ok sized, with a great L shaped balcony overlooking the sea. The room was a little tired looking, the rain shower didn’t work well as most of the holes were rusted and clogged, but tge hand help shower was supee poweful, so i was happy with that. The breakfast was ggod, greek yoghurt, fruit, museli, nuts, cold meats, cheeses, bread, cakes, boiled eggs, bacon scambled eggs, sausages, espresso coffees (whatever you like), tea, juices and water. All in all in was a good 4 star hotel, but for the average price we paid €390/night, ww have stayed in better. But you do pay for the view. Also, the pool is a plunge pool/spa, not very large, so if like us you wanted a pool to swim, then be aware of this. Would i go back there....hmmm, i did love the position and the staff but fir the price, probably not

Georgia was awesome as well as the ladies at the coffee/bar/ restaurant ! Perfect location with steep steps to the rocky beach. If you prefer sandy beach you need to walk towards the city center which is about 15 minutes away. We didn’t mind walking as we love the exercise and helps to walk off the drinks / food ! Lots of restaurants in the area in town.

Espresso and a beautiful view in a beautiful place.

This hotel was lovely!!! The location was perfect and the view was absolutely gorgeous. All the staff were very kind and helpful and the room tho on the smaller side was very comfortable I've got no complaints. I would book again 100%.

Certes, ce n'est pas un palace. Mais, au-delà de la vue magnifique depuis la terrasse, le personnel est très professionnel et extrêmement attentif. L'hébergement et cosy et calme. Accès à la plage et proche de ce charmant village. Un bon moment de relaxe.

This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future.

My family and I have been fortunate to travel a lot and this hotel, the location, and staff was the absolute best. From check-in, we realized we were going to have a great time. Georgia made us feel welcome, spent time with us giving us information, and introduced us to Pavel, the bartender and he immediately made us feel like we’ve known each other for many years. The complementary Prosecco was an absolute treat and we had it while sitting in the outside patio that was magnificent and the view was out of this world. Thanks also to Selina and the two young ladies that served at breakfast. We would recommend this hotel for all that it offers but the staff is above and beyond expectation.
