The hotel itself is in a great location near upper King Street and is close to tons of shopping and great restaurants. The hotel itself is located right between Meeting and King, but the short street it is on is not necessarily scenic. It is a bit of a walk to attractions like the waterfront, South of Broad, and the Battery, but the walk is flat, doable, and takes you through some of the most scenic parts of the city.
As for the hotel itself: the staff was friendly and helpful. It offers a run of the mill continental breakfast buffet that has everything you need. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the Ravenel Bridge. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The only minor complaint we could manufacture is that the furniture was a bit worn. However, it in no way diminished our stay.
We would definitely recommend the hotel
