I princip mitt i Pompei, precis utanför en av huvudingångarna till utgrävningarna. Mycket lugnt, tyst och vänligt område. Rent och trevligt rum med vänlig personal. Perfekt med inkludrad parkering. Frukosten var minimal.

Struttura in posizione strategica per Scavi di Pompei e a meno di 100 mt dalla stazione della Circumvesuviana: Posizione eccellente. Camere pulite e sufficientemente spaziose. Letti e materassi migliorabili; bagni piccoli ma funzionali. Sarebbero graditi dispenser al posto delle bustine shampoo/docciaschiuma, mai sufficienti. Staff attento e disponibile a risolvere piccoli problemi riscontrati. Colazione decisamente migliorabile. Si salvano i croissant, davvero buoni.

We booked at the Hotel Zeus and it was a good “strategic” location for entry into the park. As a family, we were sent to the Villa Diomede. Granted, upon learning that we didn’t have a car, we were offered to split up our family into 2 hotel rooms at the Hotel Zeus. Not knowing what we were in for, but not wanting to split up parents and/or minor kids, we declined. Bad decision. We were told that the Villa Diomede was “a few minutes up the road” from the Hotel Zeus. It was a good 15 minute walk uphill with our luggage in tow. The hotel room was like a musty, dark cave in the downstairs of the building. The bathroom smelled. The shower doors didn’t seal when closed, so leaked, flooding the bathroom. We had to use the towels to mop up the water, so our feet didn’t get soaked just to go to the toilet. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. The only upside was the convenience, once settled. The Villa Diomede is directly across from the Northwest exit to the Pompeii archeological site. We arrived in the afternoon and entered the park at 3:30. By 5:00, we nearly had the site to ourselves, which was amazing, easy, and kind of eerie. We left the park just before closing time at 7:30, then walked to La Gare Restaurant for an enjoyable meal with a nice outdoor ambiance.

Great stay at Hotel Zeus. Coolest named hotel too! The location is perfect for trains into Pompeii and tours of the ruins. Good restaurant across the street for breakfast and lunch.

Le logement était en fait dans une villa à 2 minutes en voiture de l’hôtel. Mais 10 minutes pour retourner à l’hôtel le matin pour le petit déjeuner car route en sens unique. Très bon petit déjeuner

Det enda som var bra, var närheten till sevärdheter. Hotellet var uppdelat. Recension o frukost fanns i en byggnad, rummen i annan som är ca 650 meter uppe på gatan, parkering på en annan övergiven halv byggd hus men var låst. Det var ingen parkeringsplats vilket gjorde att vi hade en hel del myror i bilen när vi åkte därifrån. Frukosten var det sämsta frukost som någon hotel kan erbjuda. Man behöver inte bo nära sevärdheterna eftersom det finns både parkering o buss o tågförbindelse på samma område.

Parfait pour visiter Pompei

Chambre spacieuse avec mini cuisine. Propre. Sécuritaire. La chambre est dans une villa convertie en hôtel à environ 500 m de la réception de l'hôtel Zeus. Petit déjeuner fourni et délicieux! À pied pour aller à Pompéi.

Right next to Pompeii. So convenient. Many excellent restaurant's within walking distance. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Very happy. I would definitely recommend if you are going to visit Pompeii.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to both the ruins and the train station. The staff were very attentive, and especially Maria Rosa at the reception was extremely kind and helpful – many thanks to her! The only downside was that the breakfast was rather limited.

Excellent location

This hotel is literally across the street from the Porta Marina entrance to Pompeii Archeological site. They were kind enough to allow luggage storage after we checked out so we could visit the site. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and got us ready for a day of exploring!

We booked the Zeus hotel......and got B&B Diomede, a 10 min walk from Zeus. So, none of the pictures or descriptions applied. We did get the same breakfast at Zeus. The room was incredibly small and bed was hard as a rock. We got the old switch-a-roo. Booked one place and got another, less desirable place. Do not book the Zues hotel without making sure where they will put you.

This is right by a train station and one of the entrances to the ancient Pompeii entrances. Very clean. I loved the flooring. It all seemed new but somehow 70’s. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was the most limited of our European vacation, but it was sufficient.
