We booked the room for 3 persons. When arrived, we discovered that there were only two sets of bedding, the sofa bed wasn’t ready or set. When asked for one more set, the receptionist said there wasn’t any! After chasing, she gave me at last. Her attitude was not sincere nor helpful.
The check in experience was bad! This affected my stay in the hotel a lot!

Very cold room. Didnt heat up all day and night. Remotes for heater is in the lobby so you physically have to leave your room to pick it up, but even so, it doesnt work well enough to heat up the room

Declined and poorly managed
I've stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was an ok hotel for the price at convenient location. Since my last visit, the hotel has really declined, just like Montreal in general.
They asked for $4 for bag storage which is cheap and ridiculous. I never had to pay in the hotel for leaving my bag for an hour and this hotel did not used to charge for storage either.
Then the condition of the hotel itself. One of the elevators' doors had several footprints on it which tells you the kind of guests they have. The footprints were never wiped off in four days that I was there, which tells you about the quality of staff and operations. While I was taking a shower, the mirror fell off the wall. Apparently it wasn't glued well. The handyman stopped by and took the mirror. I never saw neither him nor the mirror again. It's both sad and hilarious.
They need to hire new management, professional staff, remodel whole place and implement changes to their policies otherwise this hotel will turn into a flophouse in a few years.

Horrible service
I have stayed here several times before hotel itself is great for the price.However the service this time was very upsetting.Not only was I refused a refund because i was charged twice due to a glitch on hotel.com .I as well contacted the hotel asking if they could reschedule my reservation for another day.We were having a severe winter storm ,driving impossible,closures,we are practically snowed in.Agent said no cannot reschedule you bought a non-refundable accommodation.I agree but under these conditions there must be something that could be done.I was not asking for a refund,a new date was fine .Hotel.com tried to help by calling hotel however got same response.Of course I was a no-show,i m now trying to get a refund on the portion I was double charged.All the time and energy wasted on a glitch on the website.
