Location was fantastic with restaurants, bars & shopping right at your doorstep. The rooms were very spacious & with direct pool access. The hotel is slightly outdated, but is kept clean & is well worth the stay. Would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to guests who want to be in the centre of all the action in Lamai

I stayed at Am Samui Palace for a few days and loved it. The location is very central, while still providing peace and quiet. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast great, the pools lovely, and the rooms are awesome. What's not to love?

Nice hotel, beware of the mosquitoes
Nice hotel in the heart of Lamai and very close to the beach.
Booked the pool room and it definitely lived up to expectations.
However this type of room and I think the hotel in general attracts a lot of mosquitoes and they even had a mosquito repellent ‘bomb’ used in communal areas during the day to help with the issue.
My only major issue was when returning my scooter (booked via the hotel), where they’d charged me for an extra day but we agreed to split the difference 50/50.
Overall good stay but the area is very busy!
