This is my 5th or 6th time going to a 5-star rated all-inclusive resort in Cancun Mexico, and actually my second time going to Turquoize at Hyatt Ziva Cancun (last time was 2 years ago). For reference, our room was "Sky Ocean Front Master King" so not the cheapest option. No arrival champagne or drinks for us which I find is pretty basic starting point at most resorts in Cancun (although some do seem to get it so unsure selection criteria). Out of all these times it was my first time getting food poisoning despite taking the usual precautions. Had very bad food poisoning that lasted 2-3 days, after eating at their Moongate restaurant regular menu. Mentioned it to them during check-out and they didn't seem very concerned by it and seemed dismissive of the feedback. I don't think they even bothered reporting or writing it down. Maybe we got unlucky but I'd try my luck elsewhere - why risk it. Concierge service through WhatsApp is convenient though. And their facility is clean aside from the washrooms closest to the main pool.

Truly all inclusive!
Visited Cancun for the first time for an all-inclusive experience. What you see is what you get and more! Everything was flawless from our check-in to our check-out.
The property is well maintained, the service was impeccable, and the overall experience amazing. So much so that we considered making this an annual trip. We had butler service as part of the turquoise stay - both Diego and Dario did a fantastic job taking care of our stay/requests. Overall, the Staff (too many to name) were friendly and the smallest details were taken care of. 5 stars to the service.

Unfortunately the weather for 5 of the 7 days we were there was rainy, very windy, uncontrollable! But we were not informed of the use of the spa indoor pool; a person we met on our last day told us how that was a saving for them during the bad weather. This was our 4th stay at this resort, we found the "adult only" applied only to our hotel, not to any of the pools. The cabanas seem to get preferential service so we went to the bar to get our drinks. We were disappointed in what appear to be corporate changes in policy. We were told none of the pools were heated, not Hyatt policy. The one by Turquoise always was and is one of the reasons we have come back. It was heated, at least the last couple days. I am a lap swimmer making that very important to me. The upstairs bar and infinity pool are fun and a nice perk but the wind was howling and made it not a good spot...again, mention of the indoor spa pool would have been good. The spa coupons were confusing. Upon asking what it cost for a specific treatment, I was given a coupon listing bundles. It was a good break, all staff were nice and friendly but needs a bit of tweaking.
