Small but great place to stay. Beds were comfortable, water pressure not great but does the job- and plenty of hot water! Right on the beach.

They overbooked and we didn’t have a room when we got there. Not a fun experience lugging our suitcases through the sand walking back off the property looking for a room elsewhere. Was very displeased to have travelled a whole day to get to Isla mujeres only to not have a room and have to search on foot for another place to stay that night.

Fantastic location with the beach literally steps away from the hotel room. Basic and dated room. No safe in the room. Very nice TV-options for rainy days.

Hands down the best spot!! Clean, felt safe, location was amazing, and walking distance to the ferry. Best part was the staff, attentive and very kind. I will be recommending all my people to stay here. Pay the extra and get the suite- private balcony / views

We found this little gem a couple of years ago and have stayed several times. We decided to bring our family but realized that things had slightly changed. It is still a nice place to stay by a beautiful beach with many walkable options and would recommend it to anyone staying in Isla. The last time we stayed, we were supposed to wear a band, this time there was no band to show that we were with the hotel and had the ability to park where we wanted or use the umbrella and chairs without an extra charge. Although the staff did a good job of making sure, not just anyone took advantage of this, it was slightly irritating that several people from our party were asked or told to not go up to the rooms or use the chairs. The parking situation is not ideal, but again, the staff did their best to help us get out of tight situations.

This particular property has an unbeatable location, right on the beach, idyllic. Is just what I always wanted location wise. I would suggest an update placing few things to make it more comfortable. Like an iron and hair dryer on every room, a tray with coffee, sugar and milk in the fridge, cups for cold and hot drinks and an electric kettle. Perhaps a chair for an extra blanket and a box of tissue. I know we can go to the restaurants but I would have love to have those things. In any case please don't miss this hotel, Best location. I absolutely love the fact I could get up, walk few steps and I was on the warm water. Amazing. I would definitely come back here.

20 feet from our room to the bar and another 20 feet to the ocean.

Very nice property right on the beach. Would recommend paving right up to property. Hard to pull suitcase through sand. It is paved at back but doesn’t belong to them. We were asked not too use. Should work out a deal with them. Will stay again in next trip

It's literally on the beach, best location on the island, facility is outdated, but everything works. - bed in the small room is really uncomfortable, probably an old couch - no ac in the small room, Only fan that is too noisy and dirty.
Ron, 3-night trip

Seaside access was just a walking distance 2min. A beautiful and spectacular views from our room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and beds were spacious. The breakfast was limited. You will need to pay extra. E.g. when we asked to include ham to the scramble eggs there was an extra charge. I highly recommend this hotel lovely views, clean, convinient
Gloria, 1-night trip

Love this place! Great value, especially given the location! The only reason I’m nit giving it 5 stars is for two easy things they CAN fix if they want to: 1) there were no reading lights next to the bed. Doesn’t matter if you’re looking at a phone, but it’s a pain in the a— if you want to read a book. 2) the morning coffee they put out might be the worst we ever tried. Ever. A bottle a Nescafe with hot water would be waaaay better.
Steve, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The place was okay. I was a bit disappointed in the service. Cleaning the rooms was slow or sometimes didn't happen. They ran out of beach towels so I had to used my dirty bath towel. I had a view of the ocean but the walk way to all the rooms is in front of your picture window so you can't leave your curtains open unless you want everyone watching you.
Rebecca, 6-night trip

The hotel was descent, but it was difficult to get to the hotel as it didn’t have a direct road out to the street. The office staff couldn’t call a taxi for us. Thank God somebody else tried to call a taxi for us, but they tried to over charge us for the service. The hotel manager tried to charge me 500 extra pesos for paying with a credit card. I ordered a ceviche from the restaurant, and I got sick. A staff member grabbed my bag from one of the lounge chairs, and he was walking around with it while I was panicking watching him from a distance On the other hand, the price we paid for our room was very affordable. My daughter liked the fact that the hotel sat very close to the beach. The beach was by the way, very clean and beautiful
Gretty, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

At the far north end of the island at Playa Norte, ChiChi and Charlies (also called Cuxos) is just what the photos look like. Casual and clean, older but decent furniture, good bed, and gorgeous views of the ocean. Our junior suite (#9) had a huge patio with perfect views of the sunset. It’s an easy, albeit crowded, 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It’s mostly manageable with luggage, although the last little bit is sandy and uneven for a roller bag. If you can carry your bag for 100 yards, you’ll be ok. If you arrive more than a couple hours before 3pm check-in, there may not be anyone in the office. We left our bags behind the desk and went out for lunch with no problems. You have free access to the beach with umbrellas and lounge chairs and it’s a quick walk to the main pedestrian area of Hidalgo street. My only caveat is that there is a very, very loud outdoor club directly next door to the south-west. Our room, being on that side of the hotel, got the music full blast until 2am. Noise-cancelling headphones playing white noise didn’t even completely drown it out. Now, if you are on the island to party, the music won’t matter. If you are a strong sleeper (like my husband), the music won’t matter. If you are like me and struggle to fall and stay asleep, don’t stay in junior suite #9 or on the southwest side of the hotel.
