Don't judge by exterior

The stay was just a quick overnight. By the outside it honestly looked pretty poor but the rooms inside were excellent. The bathroom was brand new. I would stay again.

The outside of the hotel is old and looks not so good. The rooms are redone in knotty pine and both comfortable, clean and new. Personally I don't really care about the exterior. The hotels.com site said they had a barbecue and when I arrived they indicated they had no barbecues. The price was right.

Auf der Durchreise

Das Personal war sehr nett. Mir hat alles gefallen. Aber, wenn man ein Zimmer unten hat hört man vom oberen Zimmer jeden Schritt etc. Das war sehr anstrengend.

Ich war nur 1 Nacht dort, auf dem Weg zum Mount Robson. Mehr als 1 Nacht wäre ich dort nicht geblieben. Sehr alt, Sauberkeit ok... es riecht sehr komisch in den Zimmern. Ausserdem gab es die ganze Nacht Belagsarbeiten auf dem HWY daneben und dadurch gab es die ganze Nacht viel Lärm von draussen.

Keep driving.

We knew from reviews it was old, and I knew it would smell old. But the beds were bricks. The breakers were tied to the lights, so if you shut off lights the plugs and microwave went off.

Faded chalet

There aren't many inexpensive options near the Rocky Mountains but this still seemed a bit pricey for what we got. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had been updated. However, the rest of the room was dated and the coffeemaker didn't work. The hotel is a faded chalet style that has seen better days. Hopefully the updated bathrooms mean it's being worked on.

The check-in was quick, room was clean and spacious. Given the location, I found the place to be a bit pricy. The noise insulation is not excellent so don't be surprised if you hear almost any type of noise from the nearby rooms. Overall, it is a good place to crash in after a long busy day.
